Shoring and Formwork on a Cantilevered Balcony Deck

Check out the shoring and forming of the cantilevered balcony decks at our 8th & Spring Street Project in downtown Los Angeles! We utilized a Peri Beam-Deck Table System to move the shoring from one level to the next more efficiently and also support the cantilevered slab load without installing shoring all the way to the ground. Although the deck immediately below the cantilever is several feet in from its slab edge, our in-house Engineering Department was able to design the re-shoring system which allowed the loads that are coming down from deck table’s outside legs to be transferred and distributed into to the poured decks below without causing problems to the structure.
