EXCELSIOR

One hundred miles to the south of Portland, Largo completed the structural concrete on the Excelsior tower in Eugene. This 12 story building is all above grade and will hold 119 student housing units when complete. Designed by Jackson Main Architecture and KPFF Structural Engineers, the project is located south of PeaceHealth Sacred Heart campus, in the west university neighborhood. Largo used the Titan HV forming system for the decks, and Aluma Gang forms for the core walls. Working with general contractor John Hyland Construction, Largo poured just under 6,000 cubic yards on site, creating the 122,191 square foot super structure over the course of seven months.
